DESCRIPTION
This module is ideally suited to adding a colour screen to your project. This is the ST7735 based 128x160 full colour TFT LCD module. The module also features a SD card slot on it's reverse side. In combination this makes a powerful module that can be used for displaying all manner of pictures and data while storing and retrieving information over a longer period.
Communication is handled through a 4 or 5 pin SPI interface, available on a wide range of microcontrollers. The screen can operate in a couple of ways depending on the required speed response required. When connected directly to SPI pins the screen will operate at full speed. Alternatively when connected to ordinary digital pins the interface will still operate but around 5 times slower.
The Arduino requires the use of a libraries which are readily available and include examples. Instructions for the setup process are easy to find online, however please do not hesitate to contact us if you require assistance.
