DESCRIPTION
This module is ideally suited to adding a real time clock to your project. This is the DS1307 module which connects to the I2C bus with the address of 0x68.
The module outputs to serial the time and date as a binary coded decimal that can be accessed using the "Wire.h" library. As a simple module it will suit use within a large range of projects based on microcontrollers such as Arduino boards and the Raspberry Pi. The module has a pair of M3 mounting holes allowing for its easy attachment to a multitude of surfaces. Please contact us if you require assistance in configuring the unit.
For use with a 3.3V board such as the Raspberry Pi you will require a level convertor module or the removal and R2 and R3.
