DESCRIPTION
A small kit that joins a group of useful prototyping components into a single value bundle. It is made up of a large breadboard, a power supply unit and a range of jumper leads with which you will have everything you need to embark on your next project.
The MB-102 prototyping board allows rapid prototyping without the need to solder any components. It is designed to have standard sockets with a pin pitch of 2.54mm, making it compatible with a large range of modules and components. It is solidly constructed to allow repeated use, with a life of 5000 insertions per point. This board makes a fantastic base upon which to wire your project. The board has a total of 830 points of which 200 run parallel length ways down the board for the purpose of supplying power. While the remaining 630 act as individual 5 pin rows. The rows and columns are labelled to allow accurate tracing throughout your project. The board comes with a foam sticky backing, allowing it to be stuck on to a surface to prevent it moving around. This however arrives sealed, requiring peeling to attach to a surface.
The power unit is ideally suited to powering a prototyping board such as the MB-102 which feature standard sockets with a pin pitch of 2.54mm. The supply is designed to be connected to a DC adapter with a 5.5 x 2.1mm plug. When powered, the supply will produce 4 power rails and a USB socket. A pair of headers allow you to select between 3.3V or 5V. Each controls a pair of rails, giving you the option to have both a 3.3V/GND and 5V/GND set of rails.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information regarding the set's operation.
