DESCRIPTION
This component is ideally suited to adding light break switch to your project. This is an infrared slotted switch. These components are most often used with a slotted disc which provides link between a mechanical rotation and the sensor. The disc is rotated through the slot, this allows the output to pulse relative to the speed of the rotation. From this a speed can then be calculated.
