DESCRIPTION
This module is ideally suited to adding smoke sensing to your project. This is a detection module which can detect smoke particles to trigger a switch like response. This allows you to replace those mechanical switches that have been holding back your project all this time with something a little smellier.
An onboard potentiometer allows you to adjust the trigger volume so that you can tailor sensitivity to account for the projects surrounding background levels.
As a simple module it will suit use within a large range of projects based on microcontrollers such as Arduino boards and the Raspberry Pi. The module has a M2.5 mounting hole allowing for its easy attachment to a multitude of surfaces.
This module is part of the Keyestudio EASY-plug range and features the series standardised connector. The series promotes connection to other modules and microcontrollers without the risk of wiring incorrectly. Further more the socket is compatible with all readily available standard RJ11 ended cables.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require further information regarding the module's operation.
