DESCRIPTION
This small reader allows for button style probes to be read and the data to be fed back to a microcontroller using the 1-wire protocol. This makes it ideal for use in access control projects and fully compatible with common microcontrollers such as the Arduino.
In the center of the module is a small 3mm red LED that can be wired to help with the use of the module. For use with a 5V source, we recommend a resistor in the region of 300ohm. We also recommend the use of a pullup resistor on the data line when used with an Arduino.
