DESCRIPTION
This is the popular ESP8266 board preloaded with the NodeMCU firmware, a full WIFI frontend and TCP/IP with DNS support. The module offers an ideal IoT (Internet of Things) candidate by providing both a microcontroller with space for programs and a WIFI connection.
NodeMCU is an Lua based firmware for the ESP8266 chipset that allows you to program the onboard flash memory for your own use. As an open-source system the full documentation is available to help get you launched.
The board offers a total of 10 general input/output pins providing easy access to sensors and other devices. The module also features a full pin breakout with 2.54mm headers for easy mounting into a breadboard and integration into projects.
