DESCRIPTION
This shield is ideally suited to adding motor control to your project. The module based upon the L298P H-Bridge chipset which allows you to connect 2 DC motors to your projects. This can be used with a wide range of microcontrollers including Arduino Mega, Diecimila, Duemilanove and UNO.
The shield provides screw terminals for connecting motors to as well as an external DC power supply. The shield gives you full access to the remaining digital and analog ports that an Arduino UNO can provide. Each analog pin is also given its own VCC and GND. Furthermore the shield provide correctly arranged breakouts for Bluetooth modules. In the situation that a power supply being used is within the Arduino range (typically 7 - 12V), the onboard OPT jumper allows you to pass power through to the board below.
