DESCRIPTION
This shield is the central control board of the Arduino MEGA based RepRap 3D printer project. This is a board that incorporates a full Arduino MEGA and RAMPS 3D printer controller onto a single board.
The board can be connected up to 5 separate axis to allow the control of a 3 axis machine while allowing for 2 extruders or alternative connections. These axis are driven by A4988 (or compatible alternatives) drivers (not included) which sit in the onboard header sockets. Furthermore the included jumpers allow for configuration of the driver’s step setting.
On board connections are available for up to 6 limit switches, 4 servos and 3 additional Aux connections for expansion modules such as SD card modules.
