DESCRIPTION
This shield is ideally suited to adding motor control to your project. This is the L293D dual H-Bridge module allows you to build in 2 DC motors, 1 stepper motor or a 1 servo. The shield is designed for the popular ESP12 microntroller board.
The shield requires an external power supply of 4.5 – 36V DC to be able to power DC or stepper motors. The ESP board itself requires a separate power supply of between 4.5 - 9V DC. The pair can be coupled together while in the lower values, this can be done by shorting the VIN - VM pins.
