DESCRIPTION
This is a kit that allows you to step down a voltage of 16-22V to a steady 12V output for charging a battery. The output set by trimmer. This makes the module ideal for breaking a project away for wired power. This is a DIY kit and as such will arrive unsoldered. The kit makes ideal practice for hand soldering with large solder pads and an easy to read circuit board as well as a comprehensive instruction set. This is ideally suited for connection to a 16-22V solar panel capable of outputting 5-30W, this will then be regulated down to charge a 12V 7A battery.
The regulator features inbuilt protection to prevent overcharge as well as discharge. This kicks in when the voltage drops below 10V and when the current exceeds 5A.
